MD Alauddin, the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Hatia Upazila in Noakhali, has been removed from his post and made Officer on Special Duty (OSD). The administrative decision was taken after a 29-second video clip of him went viral on social media. A notification in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
