A shocking obscene video scandal has rocked Paratwada in Maharashtra’s Amravati district, with over 350 explicit videos going viral on platforms like Instagram and Telegram. Reports claim around 108 girls, including many minors, were exploited by a young accused who allegedly trapped them in a romantic web, recorded sexual acts, and used the footage for blackmail. The incident has sparked widespread panic, outrage, and fear across the locality.
Police have swiftly registered an FIR under the POCSO Act and other sections, arresting the main accused while launching a probe into the network behind the videos’ massive spread. Locals and political leaders are demanding a Special Investigation Team (SIT), with authorities assuring strict action against all culprits and confidentiality for victims’ identities. This case underscores the rising threats of cybercrime and women’s safety.
